Before School Schedule
7:30 to 8:20 Arrival and Free Play
8:15 Clean up Time
If a child does not help clean up their toys from the morning they will be asked to only use books or puzzles after school that day.
8:20 Group reading
This quiet activity helps to calm the children before going to their classroom for the day.
8:35 Pack up and walk to elementary hallway
Children are asked to walk with the group to ensure the teacher knows they have made it to their classroom.
The school age children are responsible for leaving the room neat and tidy as they found it upon arrival. The teacher is available to assist with the clean-up and direct children to maintain a safe and quiet classroom.
8:15 Clean up Time

After School Schedule
3:15 Children at met at the doors to the programs
Children are marked in as they meet. If children do not arrive, parents are called immediately.
3:20 Walk down to the School age classroom and sit for attendance
3:30 Snack time (Everyone sits at the table or reads a book in the library)
Children have been designated small jobs to complete after snack time such as sweeping or stacking chairs.
4:00 Free Play, outside time or planned activities
Monday- baking, Wednesday/Friday- activity
4:40 Clean up time
4:45 Group reading
Children are asked to sit quietly as a chapter book is continued from the previous day.
The school age children are responsible for returning their toys/blankets/pillows to where they belong before leaving to go home.
It is the responsibility of the teacher to keep the classroom safe and reasonably in order. The school age children are very independent and we try to implement activities they are interested in.

10:15 a.m. – 11:45 a.m. Outside play/field trip/adventure walk (1.5 hours)
11:45 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Return inside and hand-washing/bathroom break
12:00 p.m. - 12:30 p.m. Lunch (brought from home)
12:30 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. Individual Quiet time- books or puzzles
1:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. Group Quiet time- board games or shared reading
1:30 p.m. – 1:35 p.m. Cleanup
1:35 pm. – 1:45 p.m. Sunscreen and activity preparation for outside play
1:45 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Outside play/field trip/adventure walk (1.25 hours)
3:00 p.m. – 3:15 p.m. Return inside and hand-washing/bathroom break
3:15 p.m. - 3:45 p.m. Snack (as listed in “Menu” section)
3:45 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Clean-up and hand-washing/bathroom break
4:00 p.m. – 4:20 p.m. Classroom chores and tidy
4:20 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. Sunscreen and activity preparation for outside play
4:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. Outside play/pick-up (1 hour)
Daily Schedule These activities will happen in this order each day however activity times will be flexible as needed for children to complete activities. Throughout the daily schedule it is the goal of the teacher to:
· Keep waiting times to a minimum;
· Allow adequate time for children to practice self-help skills;
· And provide enough activity time for children to select materials, plan what they want to do, and clean up afterward… without feeling rushed!
