There was balloon painting which we used balloons to paint, bubble wrap to pop, ball painting, and everyone's favorite...bubble volcanoes! take a look at the picture of one friend's bubnle volcano! The children are really getting into the routines at nursery school and look forward to singing our songs when in circle time.
this week we started on our letters of the week. We talked about the letter 'Aa' and the sounds it makes. Activities were set out on the painting and craft tables that focused on Aa's. During circle time we sang our welcome song which everyone is learning the words to and singing along. Stories we read had to do with letters and A.We read Chicka, Chicka, Boom, Boom and the children enjoyed shouting out the 'boom, boom' parts in the story. The other story we read and focused on this week was Alligator Baby by Robert Munch! We had quite the discussions about babies from the zoo. Show and share next week is all about the letter 'Bb'!!!
