I purchased 2 sleeves of red cups for the children to stack for an activity a month ago. They continue to be a source of entertainment everyday up to a month later. The children have now requested MORE CUPS because they want to build their towers bigger. The children have concluded that the number of cups on the bottom row equals the number of cups going up the side of the tower (IF it is built properly). They have also concluded that if they had more cups to create a thicker base it would be a stronger tower. This is what they have learned. What I have learned? Cups and boxes are all you need to teach a thousand concepts... :) Happy learning!!
